[Yuri sighs. She did everything she could to prepare for this night. Even though Yuri feels a little guilty about saying she'd go to bed early for the night, she's very sure those pillows, in those positions, make it seem like Yuri was already in bed by the time the other two got there. And it was dark, too, so that would help out a lot.
Now, second thing's second... With her (sheathed/wrapped up in toilet paper) knife in one of her sleeves (so she doesn't accidentally hurt herself... she begins wandering. She has a lot to ask the house and the only way to do so is the crypt.]
[...Except... after what seems like about 45 minutes of walking, she does not find the crypt. Did... did she offend the house by asking those questions last trial...?]
[Ever since the last trial, Ranma's made a conscious effort to stay awake come the latter half of the week. Previous two murders occurred on Thursday night, so it seemed elementary to decide to patrol the halls. He failed Yoojin, he failed Snake, this time he won't fail whoever may be next. Not on his life.
Armed in hand with the Gekkaja he regained last Sunday, the pigtailed teen stalks down the halls. If anyone leaves their rooms or tries anything funny, he'll put a stop to them. The Gekkaja might seem excessive since his combative acumen is exemplary, but it's a last resort than anything else. In case he needs to become the one they have to vote for at the trial...]
Ah--
[Lost in his thoughts, he didn't see that someone was already up and about. Nor that he bumped into when the pair intersected each other's path. Already doing a splendid job being a sentinel...
[Yuri freezes upon hearing the voice, eyes wide. SO much for being sneaky. Anyways, after a moment, Yuri sighs.]
I apologize. I didn't expect to encounter anyone. ...I've been attempting to get to the crypt, but the house hallways won't let me reach the Crypt. I had been meaning to try to ask the house some questions...
[Excuse him while he comprehends what Yuri was planning.]
Doubt you're gonna get much outta this rickety old place.
[Starting from 'this' and ending to 'place', Ranma punctuated his words with a few leg stomps on the wooden floor. The house's hangry behavior this week hadn't curbed his disdain and boldness in egging on the house.]
It's not exactly keen on throwing us a bone. [Gnawing on their bones is more like it.] Pratibha might be more help, though I'unno by how much.
[Shaking his head before putting away the Gekkaja... somewhere. Hammerspace?]
You shouldn't be out this late anyway. Didja forget what happened with Yoojin and Snake?
[Yoojin's was for all intent and purposes manslaughter sure, but Snake's was cold blooded murder. Ranma can't let that happen to anyone else, especially someone like Yuri. How could he call himself a man if he let an innocent girl be killed?]

Who it was surprised him.]

I... I... I apologize... I just didn't want to worry anyone...
[Yuri sighs.]
...What are you... doing up?

Ranma crosses his arms and relaxes onto the wall.]
Those guys died the last Thursdays, right? I'm staying out here, in case...
[Anyone gets any bright yet dull idea to jump on the murder bandwagon.]

[Yuri can't help but hold back a small, appreciative smile. A moment passes before Yuri thinks of something.]
Um... S- since both of us are still up... would you like some tea?
