Welcome to the interest check for The Locked Place, a panfandom, puzzle-focused, short-form murder game taking place in one month/four (and a half) weeks. In it, a max of 20 characters are tasked with solving the mystery behind the house they are trapped in if they wish to escape and survive. This is a mystery murder game where the characters must solve puzzles and unravel the plot that lurks in the heart of the manse.

Intelligent man who's unfortunately been in escape room hell TWICE in his own canon (with his sister) to test if telepathy is real. Why not get captured a third time for a hat trick?

POWER NERFING: He's a guy who's adapted without sight and can mostly navigate around without help. Also has a prosthetic left arm which you wouldn't be able to tell unless you touched it. It's less power nerfing and more adaptation as he'd need a laptop with a text to speech feature instead of a notebook. Also he can read Braille.
LAUNCH DATE: OPTION B because I will be out of town May 16 through potentially the 18th.

We can absolutely provide accommodations so he can communicate, in whatever way you’d prefer. There will also be books available in braille once certain things in the house are unlocked!

Just let us know what you prefer—if a laptop works best, that’s what he’ll receive! It simply wouldn’t have Internet access and its functions would be fairly limited. Think like a Chromebook. Does that seem sufficient?

A laptop with text to speech function will be best, since he can take notes and also work out math. Also in canon, prosthetics are at a point that they function just like a real arm and you wouldn't be able to tell unless you're holding both hands or his shirt is off.

Puzzles with braille would be sneaky sneaky since they could hide info.

Consider it done! The text to speech laptop is his. He will receive it in place of the journal other characters will receive; it will thus contain profile information and a basic word processor for taking notes. There is no Internet access and very few applications besides the ones that meet his needs, but he can play Minesweeper if he wants! :)

It also escaped my brain that Snake does have those nifty telepathic powers, but given how it's less reading minds and receiving transferred information, it probably won't come into play at all. Unless someone else in the cast has telepathic powers I'm not aware of...

LAUGHS yeah no, I think we'll consider SHIFTer access to the morphogenetic field inaccessible/irrelevant unless we mods come up with some fun way to use it for nefarious mod purposes.
