Welcome to the interest check for The Locked Place, a panfandom, puzzle-focused, short-form murder game taking place in one month/four (and a half) weeks. In it, a max of 20 characters are tasked with solving the mystery behind the house they are trapped in if they wish to escape and survive. This is a mystery murder game where the characters must solve puzzles and unravel the plot that lurks in the heart of the manse.

POWER NERFING: We'd like to know if our players would prefer to keep their powers, or if they'd like to see powers nerfed. A simple yes/no is fine, but you may also explain your reasoning! Just keep in mind that the house always wins.

A florist and apothecary who recently moved into town with her adopted son and pet (???) owl after living in the woods for literal decades. Actually being a witch is the least of her secrets. Despite not looking at all like one, basically a nice grandma (unless…?)

POWER NERFING: She has healing magic, which is most likely what's going to get nerfed, and I'd bring her down to normal-human-levels of sturdiness. She also has a prosthetic arm, but the only real notable thing about it is that the fact it can move and function like a regular arm is due to magic.

ABOUT:

Former midboss who thought she could cope with life-changing trauma by becoming a workaholic to a terrible being of a boss. She found out the hard way that is not how it works and now has to live with the consequences of several questionable (poor) (bad) (terrible) decisions. Immense pathetic wet cat energy and in dire need of rehabilitation for poor social skills.

POWER NERFING: I 100% will nerf her into the ground because Exalted is the sort of game that operates on xianxia logic which would make her extremely difficult to kill, plus her skillset includes necromancy and being able to talk to the dead. She does have magic involving dolls, and I'd be interested in letting her keep it with some tweaks since it might offer some interesting IC options.
