Welcome to the interest check for The Locked Place, a panfandom, puzzle-focused, short-form murder game taking place in one month/four (and a half) weeks. In it, a max of 20 characters are tasked with solving the mystery behind the house they are trapped in if they wish to escape and survive. This is a mystery murder game where the characters must solve puzzles and unravel the plot that lurks in the heart of the manse.

CACKLES, RIGHT? Like how… do you rescue RE5… they’re GONNA do it, unless they disavow five and six entirely which I can’t see them doing if only because of Chris. But at the same time, exactly how do you remake that game without all the racism and still have any game left? Wheezes

ngl I’d be down for that. I think it would be interesting if they maybe did some building up to RE7 instead by reworking 5 and 6 to have a more natural follow-through to Ethan’s eventual journey.

Hell yeah no need to apologize!! I could kinda guess from the whole conceit of the murdergame ;v

But yeah my best guess/hope is they'll do hopefully something multiplayer?? Maybe??? That takes the RE4 Remake's gameplay scheme and follows through on Ada's thing at the end of the game which I will be vague about for the sake of anyone else reading this who doesn't want spoilers. I can't imagine what they'd do to 6 though that's. That's a capital U Undertaking to unfuck, writing-wise.
