Welcome to the interest check for The Locked Place, a panfandom, puzzle-focused, short-form murder game taking place in one month/four (and a half) weeks. In it, a max of 20 characters are tasked with solving the mystery behind the house they are trapped in if they wish to escape and survive. This is a mystery murder game where the characters must solve puzzles and unravel the plot that lurks in the heart of the manse.

I've got a couple characters that I'm considering sooooo here we go
CHARACTER INFO
CHARACTER: Long John Silver
CANON: Treasure Planet
ABOUT:

It's your good friend and galley chef, Long John Silver! He's an old sea dog and looks pretty imposing when you combine his size with his cybernetic attachments, but behind that lies a kind-hearted personality. He's always available for a chat or to give an encouraging word or two where it's needed. Silver's nothing more than a humble cook, but you can always count on him to lend a willing and comforting ear.

POWER NERFING: Silver's Cybernetics can do a variety of things, but I figure that'd be nerfed down to his cybernetic hand staying a hand and his cybernetic eye only being able to see regularly (rather than being able to zoom in, xray vision, thermal vision, etc). Though if it stil got to change color when he feels certain emotions, that'd be swell!

CHARACTER: Newt Geiszler
CANON: Pacific Rim
ABOUT:

You'd have to be either incredibly stubborn, insane or obsessed to be one of the last two holdouts of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps Science Division this far into the Kaiju Invasion, and Newt is all that and more. Dr. Newton Geiszler ("Call me Newt! Only my mother calls me doctor.") is loud, brash, impulsive, tactless, brilliant and oftentimes, nigh manic. He's so obsessed with the Kaiju destroying humanity that he's gotten every one of them tattooed on his skin, and talks about them excitedly and at length to anyone who might inquire about them, whether they do so with interest or disgust. He'd probably have been fired by now, at least twenty times over, if he wasn't so damn smart and good at his job, that being the world's premier scientist on the Kaiju and their physiology. He's definitely gotten punched more than once for enthusing at the wrong person, though.

POWER NERFING: Newt is just a regular Human, he's just really smart! Depending on where I take him from he could have some lingering Kaiju hivemind link if there's something with power fluxuation (akin to like a power motive in other MGs) (not that that's a power, it's just Mindfuckery), but otherwise he's A Normal Dude.

LAUNCH DATE: A or C work for me! If it's B I'll be on vacation during endgame alas u_u
